Treaties where the UK agrees to eliminate double taxation by the exemption method do not follow the language set out in article 23A of the OECD Model. Instead, the UK has adopted its own language. Some treaties only provide exemption in relation to distributions.76 The widest scope is reflected in art. 22(1)(b) and (c) of the Lichtenstein-UK Treaty as follows:
