Before issuing a citation, the citor must enter a caveat and, unless a registrar of the Principal Registry has by order made on summons directed to the contrary, any caveat in force at the commencement of the citation proceedings will, unless withdrawn,10 remain in force until application for a grant is made. That application is made by the person shown to be entitled by the decision of the court in the proceedings. Upon the application for a grant, any caveat entered by a party who had notice of the proceedings ceases to have effect.11
