Relief is not lost if, during the two-year period, the transferor has sold qualifying property and replaced it with the property which he now transfers. The Inheritance Tax Act 1984, s. 107 is satisfied if the transferred property, the other property, and any property directly or indirectly replaced by the other property, were owned by the transferor for a total of at least two out of the five years before the transfer.
