Assets disposed of in the course of dealings on a terminal market are removed from the scope of the wasting chattel exemption; this restriction also extends to disposals in the course of dealings with or through a person ordinarily engaged in such business (TCGA 1992, s. 45(4)).

Such dealings are also excluded from the chattels exemption (see ¶509-050).
