Where the arrangement under which an employer’s asset-backed pension contribution is made is a structured finance arrangement (see ¶377-620) and therefore relief is not denied, that relief may nevertheless be ‘clawed back’ if, subsequently, there is an event, other than a payment, which results in the reduction of the financial liability under that arrangement.
