Payments for services not otherwise chargeable

In some circumstances payments for the provision of services would constitute emoluments chargeable under Sch. E, in others the payments would be profits of a trade, profession or vocation. Where, however, a person received payment for services provided on a casual basis, a charge under Case VI could arise.
