S. 42 repealed by PA 2014, s. 24 and Sch. 13, para. 30, with effect from 6 April 2016 (as not brought into force by any earlier order under PA 2014, s. 56(1)). Note that there was no duty, after 13 July 2014 and before the repeal of s. 42 comes into force, to lay before Parliament any reports under s. 42 (PA 2014, Sch. 13, para. 30(2) and s. 56(3)(e)). Former s. 42 read as follows:

“Review and alteration of rates of contributions applicable under s. 41

42(1)  The Secretary of State may from time to time, and shall when required by subsection (2), lay before each House of Parliament–
