Real Property – Restrictive covenants – Discharge or modification – Leasehold interest – Nominal term of lease – Term of more than 70 years – Expiration of 50 years of term meant when term had been an existing term for 50 years – Law of Property Act 1925, s. 84(12).

  This was an application to determine whether the relevant authority had power to deal with certain restrictive covenants because the leases in issue were within the Law of Property Act 1925, s. 84(12).
